Registration for 2011/2012 ODP Tryouts is open.

Program Information
- Registration this year is with GotSoccer. You must click above on "Click here to register" to get to the proper registration page.
- If you currently have an account with GotSoccer - sign into your existing account.
- If you are not sure the program will tell you if your child is already enter into the system. If your child is in the system but you do not have an id or password and cannot get one emailed to you - - please call or email me and I will fix your account so that you can have access. - There are two OPEN tryouts per age group - no closed tryouts. Both are MANDATORY.
- If you cannot attend one then you must submit an excuse to the ODP ADMINISTRATOR ONLY!!! Stacie Schneider odp@lsa-soccer.org
- Approved excuses are medical, school and death in the family. Medical excuses must be on legitimate stationery from a Doctor (who is not related to the player.) Other excuses must be documented in writing.
Mandatory Tryout Dates – Moore Park Lafayette (Fields 18 -24):
October 31 - Regular Registration Deadline 95-97 age group tryouts
November 6 – 95, 96, 97’s Tryout Date (U14-U17)
November 7 – Regular Registration Deadline 98-00 age group tryouts
November 13 - 98, 99, 00 Tryout Date (U11-U14)
TIME (The time is the same for both dates)
Both sessions are mandatory for both girls and boys
Morning Session 10 am to Noon
Afternoon Session 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

What Will Happen at Tryouts - Policies and Procedures
• Players must participate at tryouts on set dates. Players must attend tryout date!
• Players will receive one numbered T-shirt
• Coaches will receive a list with players designated numbers (no names)
• Players will be placed by age group, rotate, play games, etc.
• Players will be assessed and identified by the ODP staff. The staff will determine those players selected to the initial State Pool.
Communication with Identification and Selection
• All Players must currently be registered with LSA.
• Player status after tryouts/training sessions will be posted on the LSA website, by the posted dates.
• Players can be released from the State pool after any session.
• Players must pay for all training sessions whether in attendance or not; to stay in the ODP Program.
• Payment is required prior to the set dates and be made online. PLEASE DO NOT PAY AT THE FIELD.
• If withdrawing from the ODP program please notify Stacie Schneider, ODP Administrator, via email of your intentions at odp@lsa-soccer.org Players must notify the LSA ODP Administrator to formally withdraw from the program or they will be responsible for all training fees.
Tryouts - Sunday, November 6
Tryouts for ODP 1995, 1996 and 1997 age groups
Sunday, November 6 at Lafayette Moore Park.
Daylight Savings Time begins – Sunday, Nov 6 , 2 am.
Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour!!!
Everyone is required to attend both training sessions
- Morning 10 am to Noon.
- Afternoon 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
- Registration will begin at 9:30 am.
Sign-in for morning session begins 30 minutes prior to the start of the session by the concession stand. Players will sign in for the afternoon session at the field with the coach.
All players must sign-in before joining their group. PARENTS cannot sign-in for their child.
EVERYONE MUST SIGN-IN
TO BE COUNTED AS ATTENDING!!!
DON'T FORGET A BALL.
LATE REGISTRATONS
Late registrations will be accepted. In order to efficiently process all late registrations we are asking that you do the following. Complete the online registration Tryout Registration Link before your arrive and make your payment online. Arrive at the beginning of the registration time 9:30 am so that there is enough time to handle the paperwork and complete the registration.

Map to Moore Park
Field Assignments – Moore Park, Lafayette, LA
We have been assigned Fields 18- 24. These are the fields near the water tower.
Age group assignments will be made at the field. There will be a brief meeting with all players and parents with Mark Godwin, LSA Director of Coaching. Please gather on the field closest to the concession stand at 9:55 am. Mark will address the parents and take questions after the players are released to the coaches.
Volunteers
We will be contacting volunteers today to confirm that you will be helping with the concessions or sign in. Please respond to Stacie Schneider, odp@lsa-soccer.org as soon as you can to confirm. Volunteers, for sign in or first shift at the concessions, need to report to the concession stand area by 9 am on Sunday morning.
Concessions ***NEW***
We will have the concession stand open this year. Here is a list of what we plan to have available: water, sports drinks, soda, oranges, bananas, pickles, sunflower seeds, granola bars – We will also be selling ODP gear – hoodies, sweatshirts, ODP Socks, ODP Sack Packs, State Cup t-shirts. Most of these gear items will be at discounted prices.
All proceeds from the concession stands will go into the ODP Scholarship Fund.
What to bring
- Soccer Ball
- Cleats and Shin guard
- Water/Sports Drinks
- No CLUB APPAREL
- Rain gear - waterproof jacket
